Illustration and UX/UI Design Solutions

I'm Colleen Gaynor, the designer and illustrator behind CGUX Designs. I have 15+ years of professional communications and design experience. Currently, I work at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as a Research User Experience Specialist. My design solutions serve to compassionately meet the needs of end-users while also aligning with stakeholder and business objectives. I am experienced at conducting semi-structured user research interviews, survey design, rapid prototyping, and mock-ups. I specialize in tutorial and educational content creation and have a knack for making complex tasks fun to learn. I am a trained illustrator and artist with mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite and love making concepts come to life through creative collaboration. I am a published artist and a series of my artwork is displayed in the main hospital of The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and another painting of mine is on display at Boston Children's Hospital. I am matriculated in the Human Computer Interaction and UX Design graduate program at Drexel University, with an expected graduation date of August 2025. While I have extensive background in technical science communications and biomedical application design, my goal is to combine my design and illustration skills with educational products.
